Maresca warns Madueke to train well too.

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has warned Noni Madueke to stay focused even in training. The England international started Wednesday’s 5-1 Premier League win at Southampton and scored. But Maresca slammed Madueke after the game for his poor attitude.

“I have a personal connection with Noni in that he can do much better. The moment he starts scoring or assisting and is happy, he starts to drop off.”สมัคร ufabet

“The reason he didn’t play (against Aston Villa) was because I didn’t like the way he trained. He has to understand that he has to train well every day. He has to be ambitious.”

“If he scores one tonight, he has to score the second, he has to score the third and he has to be ambitious. And has to make more assists. But overall he is doing well, he is playing well.”

“He’s doing well in terms of numbers, assists and goals. But Noni has to understand that he has to work harder because he can do much better.”

This season, Madueke has scored five goals and provided two assists in 13 Premier League games.

Despite celebrating the win, Maresca did not shy away from taking aim at Madueke over his training levels and lack of ruthless streak in front of goal.

Madueke, however, had no issue with the manager’s comments. And instead praised Maresca for taking an often-difficult approach to helping players improve.
